Social Protection for Women and Girls in Viet Nam

The study report “Social Protection for Women and Girls in Viet Nam” identifies gender specific concerns and challenges in the current social protection system,to assess the implementation of social protection for women and girls up to 2012 in accordance with Resolution 152 on certain social policies, to forecastsocial protection indicators for women and girls for the period from 2014-2020, and to propose recommendations to enhance women and girls’ participation in andenjoyment of Viet Nam’s social protection system.

Báo cáo “An sinh xã hội đối với phụ nữ và trẻ em gái ở Việt Nam” nhằm mục tiêu xác định những vấn đề và thách thức về khía cạnh bình đẳng giới trong hệ thống chính sách an sinh xã hội (ASXH) hiệnhành; đánh giá thực trạng thực hiện ASXH đối với phụ nữ và trẻ em gái đến năm 2012 theo tinh thần Nghị quyết 15-NQ/TW2 ngày 1/6/2012 của Ban Chấp hành Trung ương Đảng khóa XI một số vấn đề về chínhsách xã hội giai đoạn 2012-2020; dự báo một số chỉ tiêu ASXH đối với phụ nữ và trẻ em gái giai đoạn 2014-2020; và đề xuất một số khuyến nghị nhằm tăng cường tiếp cận và thụ hưởng của phụ nữ và trẻem gái từ hệ thống an sinh xã hội Việt Nam.
