Cultural event consists of poetry and musical concert - Afghanistan

Following the International Women’s Day commemoration, UN Women convenes a cultural event to engage the country’s youth in ending violence against women and girls. Participation of men, boys and youths as actors for change, can promote their own capacity to advocate for prevention, activism, and societal transformation. UN Women with the support from the Government of Afghanistan is organizing this contest to discuss EVAW and other women and girls related issues. The contest aimed to increase awareness among youths and to encourage cultural activities in support of women and girls.
