International Conference to Commemorate International Migrants’ Day

The Asian Research Center for Migration (ARCM) at the Institute of Asian Studies, Chula Global Networks, Faculty of Political Sciences, College of Population Studies at Chulalongkorn University and their migration networks, (including academia, government, CSOs, International Organization, Embassies, private sector, etc.), are organizing an international conference to commemorate International Migrants’ Day, under the theme “A Forced March Into Uncertainty”. The goals of this conference are to present, discuss and share knowledge about migration, security and justice which focus on challenges and solutions related to human trafficking, human smuggling, displaced persons, refugees, asylum seekers, and labor migration. In addition, this can be a platform to harmonize and strengthen the ASEAN migration, women’s rights, and anti-trafficking in persons networks and also to search for inclusive and sustainable solutions for security and justice.
