WHY:
The response to the outpouring of #MeToo around the world has been of outrage at the scale of sexual abuse and violence that the movement has revealed. The millions of people joining the hashtag tide showed us how little they were heard before. They poured through the floodgates, opening up conversations, naming names calling for justice and bolstering the frailty of individual statements with the robustness of a movement.Thailand’s answer to the #MeToo movement, the #DontTellMeHowToDress campaign, is an initiative led by Sirinya Cindy Bishop, local celebrities and activists to challenge social attitudes around sexual violence and the treatment of victims. The Social Power Exhibition against Sexual Assault, co-organized by UN Women and Cindy Bishop, will be a stage which brings sexual harassment and assault into a public discussion and invite people to question the acceptance of, and silence about sexual violence.

PROGRAMME:
