Between 2014 and 2018, Partners for Prevention (P4P) supported primary prevention of violence against women and girls (VAWG) projects in five countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Viet Nam. This report describes the lessons learned throughout this programme, to give insight into successful strategies and challenges, with practical recommendations for prevention programming. This publication was produced under the UN Joint Programme Partners for Prevention (2008–2017) implemented by UNDP, UNFPA, UN Women, and UNV, with support from Australia.
