Empower: Women for Climate Resilient Societies

This training manual was developed for grassroots level women-led civil society organizations (CSOs) in the most vulnerable areas of Bangladesh that UN Women works with under the EmPower project. The manual was originally developed in Bangla and later translated into English. It was designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of women-led CSOs on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction, and consists of five modules which tackle national climate change policies, organizational development and sustainability, climate change vulnerability assessment, and the impact of climate change on rural livelihoods, among other relevant topics.
