UN Women's Asia-Pacific Regional Strategy on Violence Against Women (VAW) Prevention 2020–2030 sets out a framework for preventing violence against women across the region. Grounded in the global RESPECT Women framework, the strategy was developed through a comprehensive process encompassing review of regional VAW data, patterns and drivers; mapping of prevention actors, programmes and evidence; analysis of UN Women's capabilities and the broader prevention landscape; and consultations with UN Women country offices, donors and partners.
