Women’s Empowerment and Learning Centres

[Factsheet] UN Women, together with Thailand’s Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development, under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, has established eight Women’s Empowerment and Learning Centres across the country.

These WE Centres serve as community-based safe spaces where women and their male allies can advance gender equality, foster women’s leadership, strengthen women’s peacebuilding roles and expand women’s economic opportunities.
