Viet Nam Country Report: 30 Years of Implementing the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (2019–2023)

This report, prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs of Viet Nam, reviews national progress from 2019–2023 in realizing the commitments of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (BPfA). It assesses achievements, challenges, and policy measures across 12 critical areas of concern—including women and poverty, education, health, violence against women, economy, power and decision-making, institutional mechanisms, human rights, media, environment, the girl child, and armed conflict.

The report underscores Viet Nam’s continued efforts to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment, aligned with the National Strategy on Gender Equality (2021–2030) and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
