This evidence brief highlights the critical role of women-led organisations and women’s rights organisations in sustaining humanitarian access across Myanmar’s complex crisis environment. Developed through the Myanmar Gender in Humanitarian Action Working Group, the brief draws on focus group discussions with 18 women-led and women’s rights organisations delivering humanitarian assistance across the country.

The analysis provides field-based insights into the access constraints these organisations face, the adaptive strategies they use to reach communities, and persistent gaps between global localisation commitments and the realities experienced by local actors.
