Women, Peace and Security: Delegates’ Resources
Welcome to UN Women’s resource hub for delegates attending the International Conference on Women, Peace and Security organized by the Philippines from 28 to 30 October 2024 in Manila. UN Women is proud to be a conference partner.
UN Women serves as the global custodian of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda in the UN system. The WPS agenda recognizes that women are often excluded in peace and security processes, and encourages their leadership and meaningful participation in peace and security decision-making efforts.
In Asia and the Pacific, UN Women supports Member States’ efforts to translate the WPS agenda from policy to practice, and works to build capacities and increase opportunities for women at the local, national and regional levels. This includes the development and dissemination of knowledge products to foster learning, information exchange and innovation in pursuit of sustainable peace.
This page lists publications produced by UN Women in Asia and the Pacific, and globally, over the past five years on key aspects of women, peace and security, arranged into sub-themes.
