Session summary: This side event will bring together and amplify young people’s voices from Asia and the Pacific through the APFSD Regional Youth Call to Action 2026 to accelerate Agenda 2030 implementation in the region, alongside governments, civil society organizations, and UN agencies. The side event will include a panel discussion on challenges and gaps in the implementation of Agenda 2030 in the region, best practices, and innovative ways to address them, and will provide key recommendations and priority actions. The APFSD 2026 Regional Youth Call to Action will be circulated amongst the stakeholders attending the review for their deliberations at the intergovernmental fora, as well as to advance the discussions at the ECOSOC Youth Forum 2026 and the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in July 2026.
