Madhura Dasgupta Sinha has more than 25 years of banking and leadership experience, and is now the CEO and Founder of Aspire For Her, which motivates young women to enter and stay in the workforce. National strategies to recover from the devastation of COVID-19 must include steps to end the gender inequality that has made women particularly vulnerable to the crisis, experts from around the Asia-Pacific region say.The Beijing+25 Expert Group, with representatives from 22 countries, met online on 15-16 September to review progress on carrying out the Asia-Pacific Declaration on Advancing Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment.
