Event description
The Expert Group Meeting will be two days long, and attended by a maximum of 25 participants. Approximately half will be peace practitioners; a quarter academics; and a quarter will be international and regional organizations. Around 2 – 3 people will be invited from each of the SEA contexts: Southern Thailand, Rakhine State (Myanmar), Cambodia, Aceh and Maluku (Indonesia), Mindanao (Philippines).The EGM will be a forum for open discussion and brainstorming, with short presentations, breakout sessions, and facilitated discussions. Detailed agenda, venue, room layout, facilitation style, and so on, will reflect this.
