Event description
Following the publication of the CEDAW Committee's Concluding Observations in October 2013, UN Women will be supporting the Cambodian National Council for Women to host a Legsilative Review of the Domestic Violence Law and Labour Migration Policy with a gender lens.
Supported by facilitation from a former CEDAW Committee member, the workshop will review the importance of CEDAW, the specifics of the Concluding Observations, and will develop the capacity of this inter-ministerial body to be able to undertake gender responsive reviews of legislative instruments.
