International Conference: Feminism and Policies for Women's Rights
On March 8, 2018, International Women’s Day, please join Institut Français d'Indonésie, Embassy of France and UN Women for an event of knowledge-sharing, information and discussion, with specialists of gender issues and high-level policy-makers.
Public Lecture (2-4 PM)
The lectures will be designed to deepen the audience's knowledge and understanding of what is at stake in gender equality, through a historical and comparative perspective. The public lecture will review the political and intellectual histories of women's rights and feminism in Europe and Indonesia. These talks will shed light on the current atae of the issues and prompt a reflection on the ground still to be covered.

Panelists will be asked to take stock of the situation of gender equality through the lens of international cooperation and strategic perspectives; they will engage in a discussion on individual and collective action for the improvement of the situation of women and girls.
