National Committees are active in 12 countries globally. They are independent, non-governmental organizations that support the mission of UN Women. They conduct advocacy initiatives, campaigns, and events for global women’s rights and gender equality, partner with their government and the private sector, and raise funds from the public for UN Women’s programmes around the world. In Asia and the Pacific, National Committees in Australia, Japan and New Zealand support UN Women’s mission.
