Factsheet: Promoting Rights of Home-Based Workers in India

From agriculture to traditional crafts, rural women sustain the informal sector in a variety of ways.  Sewa Bharat and UN Women have joined hands to build the capacities of rural, female informal sector workers. It targets 1000 female farmers involved in organic chilli production in three blocks of Almore, Uttarakhand and 1000 women engaged in tie and die production in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
