The United Nations Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund is excited to announce the Call for Proposals in the Pacific (Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu) to enhance the participation and leadership of women in the prevention of climate-related conflicts and injustice and/or their participation and leadership in climate security and climate justice efforts.

The UN Women “Solidarity in Efforts to End Violence Against Women in China (SEEVAW) (2023-2026)” Programme invites social organizations in China to submit proposals to execute as the responsible partner to promote gender equality and build harmonious and healthy marital and family relationships. The total funding for this call for proposal is approximately 1.4 million RMB, and the project implementation period is from 1 July 2024 to 31 January 2026.

UN Women Indonesia is seeking one national partner to support the implementation of the EmPower II Program in Indonesia, specifically for activities under outcome 1 and outcome 2 of the EmPower Phase II programme. Outcome 1: Asia-Pacific actors increase action on gender-responsive climate change adaptation and mitigation. Outcome 2: Women in all their diversity and other marginalized groups are represented as key environmental actors in climate and DRR decision-making

UN Women, alongside UNDP and UNFPA, is implementing a peacebuilding project titled ‘Sustaining Peace in Bougainville - Post-Referendum Support’ (2022-2025) in support of the Bougainville Peace Agreement. The overall objective of the UN’s support is to continue facilitating mutual and collaborative partnerships between the Government of Papua New Guinea and the Autonomous Bougainville Government to:

• Peacefully progress the implementation of post-Referendum priorities as determined by the two Governments.
• Support communities across PNG and Bougainville to understand and buy-into the outcomes of the post-Referendum negotiations and their implementation to support ongoing peace and inclusive sustainable development across PNG and Bougainville.

Empowering CSOs to advocate for gender equality and women's empowerment, through mapping CSOs and developing tailored training in evidence-based advocacy, supporting advocacy and investment in NAP GBV and safe public spaces. It also provides technical assistance for tracking progress on sexual violence, aligning with government commitments including NAP GBV, CEDAW, NAP 1325, and the Maubisse Declaration.

The overall objective of this initiative is to strengthen capacities of community based justice actors and service providers to facilitate access to gender responsive justice for women and marginalized group and to strengthen capacities of women human right defenders including grassroots women's organization, community base women's organization and women human rights defenders networks to facilitate access to justice for women and marginalized group.

The overall purpose of this call for proposals is to provide grants to local civil society organizations in the Philippines focused on the increased meaningful participation and decision-making of women in conflict prevention processes and response in conflict and humanitarian contexts with local women and young women’s rights organizations. The call for proposals specifically contributes to WPHF’s overall goal of contributing to peaceful and gender equal societies. Initiatives should aim to reach those women and girls experiencing multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination, such as those excluded due to geography, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, age, migratory status, HIV status, among others and which is in alignment with the 2030 Agenda and the principle of leaving no one behind.

The primary objective of this project intervention is to enhance income opportunities for 1500 selected women from excluded groups across 10 local government units (LGU) in Madhesh, Karnali and Sudurpaschim province.

UN Women Pakistan seeks services of civil society organizations with demonstrated experience of working with communities, academic institutions and justice sector institutions (JSI) including Police, Judiciary and legal fraternity on enhancing women’s access to these institutions. The proposed initiatives, as mentioned above, will focus on enhancing gender parity in JSIs and promote structural reforms that help institutionalize gender concerns ensuring a safe and enabling environment for women.
