Violence against women and girls and COVID-19 messages

Women and girls are part of the most vulnerable groups in times of humanitarian crisis such as COVID-19. To ensure all the information and available support are accessible to all, we need to ensure women’s representation and voices are visible at the decision-making level. Furthermore, public reminders which emphasize the increase of Gender-Based Violence during times of crisis serve as a reminder and call for action for us to always check on those around us and be there for others, ensuring that violence is never accepted at any time.
