UN Women WEPs Awards Ceremony (Philippines)

Four Philippine companies that give priority to women’s equality and leadership in the workplace have qualified to compete at the inaugural Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Awards given by UN Women in the Asia-Pacific in December after bagging top national gender equality trophies on November 11, 2020. The UN Women 2020 Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards recognized private sector initiatives in the Philippines for the first time for their outstanding approach to address gender imbalances and reach ambitious corporate targets for women’s representation in six categories.
