A handbook on gender-responsive police services, published by UN Women under the framework of the UN Joint Global Programme on Essential Services, in collaboration with UNODC and the IAWP, has been published in the Nepali language. The primary objective of this handbook is to sensitize security personnel and equip them with relevant and practical guidance on how to respond to survivors in a gender-sensitive manner.
By promoting effective and accountable services, this resource aims to encourage a proactive approach to addressing the challenges of gender-based violence.
