UN4U Photo Contest 2014 on Gender Equality - What does Gender Equality look like to you?

This year’s United Nations Day celebrated across Asia and the Pacific with a photo contest on gender equality. The theme was chosen ahead of next year’s historic Beijing +20 conference, which marks the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women. The conference will review the progress and setbacks for women around the world using as a measure the Beijing Platform for Action, a global framework for realising gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.
