Engaging men and boys as allies to end Violence against women

From 1-3 July 2015, Partners for Prevention (P4P) organized a training workshop in Hanoi, Viet Nam for government partners and political and social organizations, NGOs working on gender equality in Vietnam to share understanding on the roles of men and boys in primary prevention of VAWG and develop concrete plans for the involvement of men and boys in primary intervention of VAWG. Partners for Prevention is a UNDP, UNFPA, UN Women and UNV regional joint programme for the prevention of violence against women and girls in Asia and the Pacific. The joint programme brings together the combined strengths of the four UN agencies, along with governments and civil society, to promote and implement more effective violence prevention programmes and policies.
