UN Women Fiji MCO 10th Anniv Pacific Feminist Dialogue Series – 1

For our first dialogue in the series, join Imrana Jalal – Chair, World Bank Inspection Panel, and Noelene Nabulivou – Political Adviser, DIVA for Equality Fiji and moderator, Sandra Bernklau – UN Women Fiji MCO Representative, in a feminist discussion on COVID-19: A feminist analysis of the post COVID-19 future for Pacific women and girls. The pandemic has disproportionately impacted women and girls through decreased economic livelihoods and increased violence. What is needed to recover? And can we imagine a new, feminist way of moving forward? UN Women turned ten in July 2020. While we reflect upon the first decade of the organisation, as well as our new circumstances during this time of COVID-19, UN Women Fiji MCO in the Pacific would like to take the opportunity to create spaces to reflect, learn and share on key issues of relevance to women and girls in the Pacific and globally. These spaces will provide the opportunity to look at key current issues for Pacific women, through the provision of a safe, inclusive, and diverse space for dialogue and discussion.#UNWOMEN #COVID19
