Women Empowerment in Host Community of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh

Sabekunnahar (28), a housewife living in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh is one of the women leaders under the Maitree Project. She is popularly known as Maitree Apa who have received training on women rights. This project is implemented in the host community by Ain o Shalish Kendro (ASK) with the technical support of UN Women and the Government of Japan.
