UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific is calling on individuals in the region to take part in the #IAmGenerationEquality challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted people all over the world reversing some of the hard-earned gains in achieving the sustainable development goals especially when it comes to gender equality.
This challenge aims at raising awareness, sparking conversations and inviting people from all genders, nationalities and backgrounds to join the conversation by sharing on social media how they support gender equality and what makes them Generation Equality.
The challenge will have a different theme every month announced on social media. The challenge will run from the 1st of February 2021 until the 28th of February 2021 and will be promoted across Asia and the Pacific through UN Women’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok).
