Event description

EU, ILO and UN Women are launching “Fair and Safe: Realising women migrant workers’ rights and opportunities in ASENA region” to ensure women migrant workers are protected from violation of rights and violence against women and respond to the needs of women migrant workers by ensuring they have access to essential services for gender-based violence. The programme launch is being held as part of the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative to eliminate violence against women and girls to realize gender equality and empowerment of women in economic and migration sectors.
