Safe Cities Strategic Framework

To address violence against women in Delhi, the Government of Delhi, JAGORI, UN-HABITAT and UN Women are raising awareness for women’s equality and taking steps to counter it. The draft strategic framework identities seven potential areas of intervention that include changes in urban planning, civic awareness and partnerships, safer public transport and better policing and support to victims.
