Good governance is not only about creating fair legal frameworks. For the aims of governance to be achieved, equitable enforcement of the instruments created must follow. Central to this pursuit is a well-working justice system, and unrestricted access to its realm.

In this series of ‘Access to Justice’ project articles, we take a deep dive into this very question. Breaking it down into its constituent components, examining each of these elements, and proposing ways to change the status quo and accelerate progress.

The issues placed under the microscope span the spectrum of the justice for women questions — from understanding the challenges in delivering justice for women (and for all), to exploring some new thinking and approaches that may transform women’s quest for justice.
