About ‘Changing Norms, One Step at a Time’ Video Competition

Do you believe you can play a role in transforming social norms that are holding back women, gender minorities, and excluded groups from equal participation in all areas of life? Submit your pitches for short videos for the national competition held by UN Women Nepal. The submissions can be made in text, audio or video formats.

The top five pitches will get support from professional videographers and storytellers on developing a storyline, scripting, recording and editing. The winners will also get needed electronic gadgets to capture the video.

Eligibility:

Any person in Nepal between the age of 18 to 29 who believe in gender equality can apply. Women, gender minorities, persons from excluded caste groups, persons with disability and persons living in rural areas of Nepal are highly encouraged to apply.
