Selected Participants of MyGov COVID-19 Shri Shakti Challenge - Ideation Stage

In order to support and promote women entrepreneurs, women-led startups and solutions by entrepreneurs impacting a large number of women, MyGov in collaboration with UN Women India launched the COVID-19 Shri Shakti challenge on April 13, 2020. The challenge is supported by WeEmpowerAsia, a programme funded by and in partnership with the European Union seeking to increase the number of women who lead and participate in business in Asia, including India. A key component of the programme is to mobilize private sector companies to become gender-responsive by committing to and implementing the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
The challenge received an overwhelming response from women entrepreneurs with over 1,200 entries for first stage i.e. Ideation Stage.
Based on the screening and the due evaluation of the solutions proposed, the Jury finalized 11 entries that will be mentored and compete in the PoC stage. Congratulations to the finalists!
