On December 01, 2020, UN Women announced India's national winners of UN Women 2020 Asia-Pacific Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Awards (India). Following a competitive selection process from a pool of 150 applications nationally, the awards were presented to Indian business leaders and companies for their contribution to gender equality in business. The awards campaign is organized through the EU-funded WeEmpowerAsia programme of UN Women.
