Ten promising women entrepreneurs honoured at WE RISE Together Accelerator Pitching Day

Bangkok, Thailand — On 1 November 2023, 10 high-potential women-owned micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) were honoured not only for their business acumen but for bringing about positive change as practitioners of gender-responsive businesses in the world of work. They were recognized at an Accelerator Pitching Day organized by WE RISE Together, a three-year initiative supported by the Australian Government through the Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP) and implemented by UN Women, and Thailand’s National Innovation Agency (NIA). As a token of recognition and to further bolster their growth, these MSMEs will receive specialized matchmaking support from the programme.
Nutcha Wongvitid, Founder and CEO of Soulbound Co., Ltd., one of the women entrepreneurs who presented their business plans at the event, said: “The programme has helped me gain a better understanding of business processes, as it offers curriculums on management, marketing, finance and risk management, which are all crucial for business model development. Also, the programme creates a great opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and businesspeople. Moreover, it raises awareness about gender equality in business, helping me develop a more inclusive view toward staff in my company.”
Krithpaka Boonfueng, Executive Director of the NIA, stated: “This initiative focuses on providing knowledge and support for women entrepreneurs and facilitating equal access to both public and private sector procurement systems to expand market opportunities. Additionally, it links NIA’s innovation network with UN Women to create opportunities for business expansion and knowledge exchange with innovation experts. NIA hopes that this project will elevate Thai entrepreneurs’ capacity to create innovations that play a crucial role in driving the country’s innovation ecosystem.”

Boonfueng said more than 200 companies have shown interest so far, 41 of which have entered the Accelerator Programme, with the 10 high-potential women entrepreneurs selected to present plans that reveal opportunities for growth in the future market.
Supapim Wannopas, UN Women Regional Programme Coordinator and Thailand Project Manager of WE RISE Together, added: “This initiative has been unwavering in its mission to address the deeply entrenched gender inequities in the global procurement market. A market where, as we are all too aware, women-owned businesses secure a mere 1 per cent of worldwide spending. In collaboration with NIA Academy, we have taken proactive steps to nurture resilient business models. We aim to bridge connections, facilitate opportunities, and above all, recognize the immense value that gender equality brings to our global economy.”
The event is set against the backdrop of the broader ‘WE RISE Together’ initiative, which has been instrumental in promoting gender-responsive procurement in both Thailand and Viet Nam, aiming to increase procurement spending towards women-owned businesses.
The recognition event at C-ASEAN, Rama IV (Bangkok) is more than just a ceremony, it is a celebration of the resilience, determination and innovation of women entrepreneurs that gives attendees the opportunity to network, share insights and forge meaningful collaborations.

กรุงเทพฯ ประเทศไทย — วันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2566 โครงการ WE RISE Together ร่วมกับสำนักงานนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ NIA ได้จัดงาน Accelerator Pitching Day เพื่อยกย่องผู้ประกอบการหญิงที่มีศักยภาพ 10 ท่านที่เป็นเจ้าของวิสาหกิจขนาดกลาง ขนาดย่อมและขนาดย่อย (MSMEs) สำหรับทักษะทางธุรกิจที่เฉียบแหลมและการสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงในฐานะนักธุรกิจที่คำนึงถึงความเสมอภาคทางเพศในโลกของการทำงาน เพื่อสนับสนุน MSMEs ทั้ง 10 บริษัทนี้ให้เติบโตต่อเนื่อง ทั้ง 10 บริษัทจะได้รับการสนับสนุนด้านการจับคู่ธุรกิจจากโครงการ ทั้งนี้ โครงการ WE RISE Together เป็นโครงการระยะสามปีซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนโดยรัฐบาลออสเตรเลียผ่านโครงการความร่วมมือประเทศลุ่มน้ำโขง-ออสเตรเลีย และดำเนินโครงการโดยสำนักงาน UN Women
คุณณัชชา วงษ์วิฑิต ผู้ก่อตั้งและประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท โซลบาวด์ จำกัด หนึ่งในผู้ประกอบการหญิงที่ได้นำเสนอแผนธุรกิจในงาน กล่าวว่า “โครงการนี้ช่วยให้เข้าใจกระบวนการทำธุรกิจมากขึ้น เนื่องจากมีหลักสูตรเกี่ยวกับการบริหาร การตลาด การเงิน และการบริหารความเสี่ยง ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญมากต่อการพัฒนา Business Model ทั้งยังเป็นโอกาสได้แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นกับผู้เชี่ยวชาญและนักธุรกิจ ที่สำคัญ โครงการนี้ช่วยสร้างความตระหนักเกี่ยวกับความเท่าเทียมทางเพศในธุรกิจ ทำให้เรามองคนในองค์กรอย่างเข้าใจมากขึ้น”
ดร.กริชผกา บุญเฟื่อง ผู้อำนวยการ NIA กล่าวว่า “โครงการนี้มุ่งเน้นส่งเสริมองค์ความรู้ด้านการสร้างธุรกิจฐานนวัตกรรมให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการผู้หญิง ผลักดันการเข้าถึงระบบจัดซื้อจัดจ้างภาครัฐและเอกชนอย่างเท่าเทียมเพื่อช่วยขยายโอกาสทางการตลาด รวมถึงเชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายนวัตกรรมของ NIA และ UN Women เพื่อสร้างโอกาสการต่อยอดธุรกิจ และแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้กับผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านธุรกิจฐานนวัตกรรม NIA หวังว่าโครงการนี้จะช่วยยกระดับผู้ประกอบการไทยให้สามารถสร้างนวัตกรรม ที่จะเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนระบบนวัตกรรมของประเทศได้”
ดร.กริชผกา กล่าวอีกว่า มีผู้ประกอบการสนใจโครงการนี้มากกว่า 200 บริษัท ผ่านเข้าสู่ Accelerator Program จำนวน 41 บริษัท และได้คัดเลือกผู้ประกอบการหญิงที่มีศักยภาพ 10 บริษัทมานำเสนอแผนเพื่อให้เห็นโอกาสและการเติบโตเข้าสู่ตลาดต่อไป
คุณศุภพิมพ์ วัณโณภาศ ผู้ประสานงานระดับภูมิภาคและผู้จัดการโครงการ WE RISE Together ประเทศไทย ของ UN Women กล่าวว่า “โครงการนี้มีพันธกิจอย่างแน่วแน่ในการจัดการกับความไม่เท่าเทียมทางเพศที่ฝังรากลึกในตลาดการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างทั่วโลก ตลาดที่อย่างที่เราทุกคนทราบกันดีอยู่แล้วว่าธุรกิจที่ผู้หญิงเป็นเจ้าของได้รับส่วนแบ่งเพียงร้อยละหนึ่งทั่วโลก ด้วยความร่วมมือกับ NIA Academy เราได้ดำเนินการเชิงรุกเพื่อส่งเสริมโมเดลธุรกิจให้เข้มแข็ง เรามุ่งหวังที่จะสร้างความเชื่อมโยง ส่งเสริมโอกาส และเหนือสิ่งอื่นใด แสดงให้เห็นถึงคุณค่าอันมหาศาลที่ความเท่าเทียมทางเพศนำมาสู่เศรษฐกิจโลกของเรา”
งาน Accelerator Pitching Day เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ WE RISE Together ซึ่งส่งเสริมการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างที่คำนึงถึงความเสมอภาคทางเพศ (Gender-responsive Procurement) ในประเทศไทยและเวียดนาม เพื่อขยายโอกาสทางการตลาดในส่วนของการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างให้แก่ธุรกิจที่ผู้หญิงเป็นเจ้าของ
งานที่ C-ASEAN พระราม 4 (กรุงเทพฯ) ในวันนี้เป็นมากกว่างานเฉลิมฉลอง แต่ยังเป็นการยกย่องความมุ่งมั่น นวัตกรรม และความสามารถในการปรับตัวของผู้ประกอบการหญิง ซึ่งผู้เข้าร่วมงานมีโอกาสขยายเครือข่ายทางธุรกิจ แบ่งปันประสบการณ์ และสร้างความร่วมมือใหม่ ๆ ต่อไป
