Celebrating our Progress, Shaping our World
The purpose of the 5th Pacific Ministers for Women Meeting is to review the discussions and recommendations from the 12th Triennial Conference of Pacific Women and develop key strategic agreements at ministerial level on next steps. The meeting follows the Triennial Conference, which will be held from 20 to 24 October and will focus on a detailed review of national and regional implementation of the Revised Pacific Platform for Action for the Advancement of Women and Gender Equality and the 2012 Pacific Leaders Declaration on Gender Equality, with an emphasis on discussing strategies and innovations for accelerating progress.
