Enhancing women’s economic development can boost the economic growth in the Pacific region, promote social development for women and the entire population, cushion climate change impacts, and help reduce poverty levels. Women’s economic empowerment is fundamentally about rights and equitable societies, yet women and their views, priorities and skills are often excluded from decision-making processes that shape development.
