The aim of the Expression of Interest (EOI) is to identify existing women led media outlets in Afghanistan and develop an understanding of the current landscape at the community, provincial and national level. The EOI is is accepting three types of profiles (1) women in radio, (2) women-led community media initiatives and (3) women-led digital media initiatives.

The aim of this Call for Proposals is to support Afghan women-owned and women-led spaces for coalition building and other ways that Afghan women are coming together – online or otherwise – to hold spaces for women’s rights and to address women’s needs. Given the increasingly restrictive environment for Afghan women inside the country, supporting Afghan women to work together – formally and informally – is needed for joint advocacy.

The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) India Country Office plans to contract an organization (Civil Society Organizations, registered in India) or to support implementation of the project on Strengthening Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting. The total budget available for this call for proposal is of up to INR 29 lakhs only.

UN Women is seeking a registered non-government organization to run this project with the main objective to upscale the path to the economic empowerment of rural women by increasing five strategies areas, such as:
1. Structure and Organization
2. Infrastructure, equipment and lack of resources of the weavers
3. Marketing and communication
4. Advocacy
5. Capacity building and transmission of knowledge

Specific Objectives of this research are to:
(1) To conduct a study exploring, investigating, identifying and analysing indigenous women’s knowledge and practices that contribute to climate adaptation, mitigation barriers and address climate security.
(2) Strengthen the evidence and knowledge base indigenous women’s knowledge systems and practices contributing to climate adaptation.

The overall objective of this research is to generate relevant evidence from South experience on climate-smart technologies to reduce women's time poverty and work drudgery.

The overall objective is to promote leadership and substantive participation of elected women representatives in governance structures and processes. The initiative also aim to strengthen the capacitties of duty bearers and right holders across governace structures to promote gender responsive and inclusive governance.

The selected CSO will be required to work with Human Resource departments of Police and Judiciary, young women who aspire to join Police and Judiciary, Police and Judicial officers, and community networks to enhance gender parity in justice sector and promote gender just practices.

This Call for Proposals aims to support “Prevention and Protection of Women from Violence through Enhanced Access to Justice and Services” initiatives in Punjab and Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan by by increasing capacity, coordination, and knowledge of stakeholders on VAW for better handling of cases and enhanced access to justice for women. The proposed initiative will focus on reducing structural barriers to women’s participation and strengthening both institutional and personnel capacity and overall performance of the justice sector through improved coordination, to improve women’s access to quality and survivor-centered justice.
