UN Women Indonesia is seeking three Civil Society Organizations as Responsible Partners (hereafter refered to as 'proponent organization') to promote inclusive governance and resilient communities in Central Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The proponent organization will mainly develop community based models for strengthening community resilience and reducing vulnerabilities in emergency and conflict-affected areas by connecting the humanitarian, development and peace building actors.

The objective of this Call for Proposals is to support Afghan women to have increased knowledge and capacities to benefit from livelihood opportunities including through access to entrepreneurship skills, finance and markets. Afghan women entrepreneurs, home-based businesses, to startup or sustain and grow their businesses or women seeking for suitable income generating activities – in any kind of initiative – to build their capacity, awareness and promote their business and provide access to resources and finance.

UN Women seeks to partner with a Civil Society Organization (CSO)to lead, coordinate, and implement this initiative under the WING Joint Programme (JP) in close collaboration with UN Women, sister UN agencies, the private sector and relevant government ministries and departments to increase women’s economic participation through local economic development.

The objective of this assignment is 1. to promote leadership and substantive participation of elected women representatives in governance structures and processes, 2. to strengthen capacities of duty bearers across governance institutions to promote and advance gender-responsive and inclusive governance and 3. to support women leaders, women living with disabilities, and their networks to address issues of gender and disability-based inequalities; demand accountability for protection/fulfilment of their rights and entitlements and influence and shape the local development agenda.

UN Women seeks to partner with a consortium/coalition of WLOs/WROs with the objective of implementing initiatives to support the development of three MPWC’s in the Rohingya refugee camps for women’s protection and empowerment activities, including renovations and refurbishment for pre-vocational, vocational and education activities, social gatherings of women, and child-friendly spaces.

The aim of the EOI is to identify women-led and/or gender-focused organizations that can provide the following types of services (but not necessarily limited to): (1) identifying WHRDs at-risk via assessing and documenting their risk/threat factors, (2) safe houses to WHRDs (3) protection services like legal, health, psycho-social support, and counselling, (4) safety (rapid response and digital security) training to help mitigate risks facing WHRDs.

The proponent organization will support capacity building for government institutions to develop and implement gender-responsive plans and policies on prevention of violent extremism to advance sustainable peace and resilience.
