This Call for Proposals aims to support “Prevention and Protection of Women from Violence through Enhanced Access to Justice and Services” initiatives in Sindh, Pakistan by by increasing capacity, coordination, and knowledge of stakeholders on VAW for better handling of cases and enhanced access to justice for women. The proposed initiative will focus on reducing structural barriers to women’s participation and strengthening both institutional and personnel capacity and overall performance of the justice sector through improved coordination, to improve women’s access to quality and survivor-centered justice.

UN Women is seeking to identify a CSO partner to support the process of effective localized implementation of National Action Plan on Women Peace and Security (NAP WPS) by strengthening capacity of CSOs at national and local levels, built on learning and good practices from previous interventions on the WPS agenda.

The CfP is for the responsible party that will be responsible to strengthen the capacity and leadership skills of the grassroots women-led Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and other marginalized groups of people in the most climate-vulnerable districts. The objective of this assignment is to strengthen and expand community safety nets as a model for economic, political and social empowerment of women and excluded groups and foster collective voice, leadership and political action of women and excluded groups to address discriminatory social norms and harmful practices to promote and harness feminist knowledge building

UN Women alongside other agencies is implementing the ‘Sustaining Peace in Bougainville - Post-Referendum Support’ (2022-2025) peacebuilding project in support of the Bougainville Peace Agreement. The objective of the UN’s support is to continue facilitating mutual and collaborative partnerships between the Government of Papua New Guinea and the Autonomous Bougainville Government to peacefully progress the implementation of post-Referendum priorities and support communities across PNG and Bougainville to understand the outcomes.
